Hey evereyone, I just started CF about two weeks ago and I love it. I was just wondering if anyone had any favorite songs or playlists that they like to workout to. My gym plays somewhat slow music in my opinion and so Im always looking for more songs to put on my ipod to drain it out and help me squeeze out those extra two reps.
Thanks, later.

Oh man, I can tell you now...you're going to get a lot of heavy metal suggestions.
You'll get the idea if you go to the exercise and demos page on this site. They all have music and I'm sure all of it is thrash metal or whatever. Listen to the one for the "Hollow Rock" exercise and get back to me. Oh yeah, make sure your grandma's not in the room at the time. :censored:

My playlist is speckled with metal (Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden), classic rock (Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, etc)and Hip Hop (Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Wu-Tang[original album only], Black Eyed Peas, Heiroglyphics). Basically anything that is either really fast ala metal or rock or that has a great rhythm ala Hip Hop.

The gym playlists ALWAYS suck. I dont see how people dont fall asleep or kill themselves during some of those songs! I mean, cmon, Jack Johnson during Cindy? No way!

Last song is by Charlie Hall...makes a nice "I can't believe I just did/survived this..." kind of song.

I've got a good Tabata This soundtrack with the Jackson 5 (ABC), Puffy Ami Yumi (Boogie Woogie #5), Old School Freight Train (Superstitious), and Jane's Addiction (Been Caught Stealing). The Old School Freight Train is cool, that's a Stevie Wonder song redone with bluegrass instrumentation (but still funky).
