Re: TRX Suspension

If you haven't seen the DIY versions, it'd be worth a quick YouTube search... I remember seeing a guy making his own from webbing & pvc for about $15.

Re: TRX Suspension

Forgot to mention that pullups and dips on TRX is just painful and awkward with the single attachment point for the straps. The Jungle Gym is much more useful in that regard.

Rings rock! They're like the TRX, but for men. Seriously though, save the dough for something more useful.

Re: TRX Suspension

Seriously...Mine cost me less than 10 bucks to make...how much 'cheaper' could you get? They are ultimately effective and can work the body in ways nothing else can...While mine are the homemade version...they work! I am not so hip on spending 200 bucks for something I can make at a fraction of the cost...and pullups and dips are not hard when you have 2 straps...vs the TRX one pivot point.

Re: TRX Suspension

I would just get some rings. I am sure most of the workouts performed on a TRX system can also be done on a pair of rings.

Re: TRX Suspension

We have two TRX straps that were donated to our box.
While we do get plenty of use from them,
I would not have purchased them and would go with rings
if I had to make the choice.

Re: TRX Suspension

I own a TRX and I LOVE it and I use it all the time!! Nothing wrong with using rings sometimes, and TRX other times. Break it up, keep things interesting!
