Probably should breathe.... And it's bated breath. Technically it's 'bated (short for abated, as in stopped). Baited breath is good if you're subbing as a mousetrap, or fishing.

Re: CrossFit Endurance forum? Please?

I think the weightlifting, gymnastics, etc is too specific. One of the these I like about CF is that you have people with very different backgrounds coming together. A Powerlifter can learn from a weightlifter or can learn from a gymnast who can learn from a diver who can learn from a powerlifter. I think breaking the fitness section along the lines of the ten aspects of fitness, maybe "Strength/Power" "Agility/coordination", "Cardiovascular/endurance".

Any way you break it up, alot of things will straddle a few categories.

Good catch.

On second thought, maybe I was baiting someone.

Re: CrossFit Endurance forum? Please?

We actually had an "LEO/Military" forum here a long time ago. We eventually closed it for two (interrelated) reasons:

a) it got very little traffic . . . maybe 2 or 3 new threads a month
b) mostly, it turned out the discussions about LEO/Military fitness were pretty much *exactly* like the discussions of the rest of CrossFit . . . same issues, same needs, same resolutions (which is probably why it got very little traffic).

Cops and military probably have about a million things to talk about that you *need* to be another cop or soldier to understand . . . but it turns out that fitness doesn't seem to be one of them.

The CFE forum is now active at crossfitendurance.com, FYI.
