Re: Snowed in!!!

Practice handstands in the backyard! The snow makes the crashes, er, landings easier.

My grandmother was from St. Louis orignally (literally, back at the turn of the last century (the 1899 - 1900 one)). She called it "St. Louis, Misery", and that combination drove her out . . . by coincidence, to the Pacific Northwest.

There are only two pleasant seasons in Missouri, Spring and Fall. Even then you have floods and tornados in the Spring.

I question my sanity in moving back daily, despite my family telling me its great having me back in the area.

Re: Snowed in!!!

I'll second what our Canadian neighbours to the South and East say.
I like the snow angels and snowmen for time, what about shoveling and ice chipping.
We were down in Seattle for the "snow threat level red" that shut the town down without a flake falling! and then 4 inches turned it in to a mess.
So happy to be back to 48 inches in 48 hours SOP. Nice and cool @ -6.
The only time we ever got fully shut down was 13 feet of snow in 5 days.
Yes that is 13 feet. It was pretty crazy, but got worse when it turned to torrential rain on day 6 and 7.....
I guess it's just like Crossfit: adaptation to beyond norm becomes new norm....
