Red face pulled back muscle/ spasms

Hey everyone,

just wanted some input. I pulled a muscle in my back last weekend and have been resting all week laying down and putting moist warm towels and heat packs. i went to the doctor and told me it was most likely a pulled muscle and gave me pain killers which i havent taken and also muscle relaxers for the spasms i keep getting which i have taken. It a week later and my back is better but not 100%. I think by wednesday i should be 100% and wanted to get into WOD's and wanted some input on what i should avoid or what i should do. Im nervous because i dont want to re-injure myself, so what do you all think i should do. laying in bed all week not being able to do much is driving me crazy and all i keep thinking about is doing a work out or doing something active..Also is there any stretches you recommened or should i go see a chiropractor/ physical therapist? hope you guys can help
