Hello everyone!

I've been following the Zone diet for awhile now. It's gotten alot easier to follow too!

One weird thing I've noticed though is contradictions between book regarding carb blocks.

In "Enter the Zone" and "Mastering the Zone" it states that 1 1/4 cups of cooked brocolli is a carb block.

But in "A week in the Zone" and "What to eat in the Zone" (previously Zone food blocks), it shows one carb block of cooked brocolli being 3 cups.

Anyone know why it changed?? The diet is confusing enough for a beginner, without there being differences between the different books.

Any suggestions? Should I just follow the original books?

Thanks everyone!

I believe that Crossfit subtracts fiber from the overall carb count. Also, www.fitday.com is a very useful tool in this regard.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I appreciate the help. I think I'll just use the zoneblox.htm address as a reference.

Thanks again!
