Didn't feel to good today, weight felt heavy and i felt slow. Carrrying a couple of knocks from rugby on Saturday.

Cheers Jay, need to work on keeping the bar closer and not poping it out with my hips and having to jump forward to chase the bar.

Good effort on the front squats. how long is your on-ramp lasting for?

Thanks Chris, the on-ramp finished last Friday so i'm into proper classes and open gym now.

These felt good i worked on not shooting my butt up and driving up instead of out with my hips to stop myself popping the bar out and having to chase it.

WOD

5 Rounds for time of:

■20 Double Unders
■15 Box jumps 24"
■10 Toes to bar
■5 HSPU’s

This was a really frustrating workout, i suck so bad at DU's i think 4 in a row was the most i got the rest were 1-2 at a time. T2B i found the kipping rythm in round 2 but then lost my grip and couldn't find the rythm again for the rest of the rounds. HSPU's were done to 2 ab mats all unbroken so i think next time HSPU come up ill remove an ab mat. All box jumps were unbroken.

Been a lack off updates over the last week or so as i've been on holiday to Nerja, Spain.

Managed to get some sort of exercise in but not that much as i was hungover quite a lot

I performed a hand release push up and air sqat ladder 10-1 3.39 followed by 100 air squats for time 2.33

I also went for a run to try and clear the fuzzy head from the night before, only ran 3K but the heat made it awful i had my heart rate monitor on and at the highest i saw it was 189 14.49 terrain was up and down nice 400m hill to finish it.

I also went Kayaking for 3 hours.

04/09/11

Spartan Sprint Race

5 km Obstacle Race through rolling countryside, low wire entanglements, flaming hurdles and mud pools.

I finished 35th out of 350 competitors with a time of 35.50

The owner of my gym finished 1st with a time of 29.40!

06/09/11

BAZ - Hero WOD

30 Minute AMRAP

30 Double unders (scaled to 90 singles)
8 Squat Cleans 50/70 (scaled to 50kg)
11 Hand release press ups

8 Rounds + 5 H/R

It's great to be back in the swing of things and back in the gym.

50 double unders - I hit a new PR for consecutive DU's during this of 15
