Nah.....the funny feeling in my nether regions is what's most important to me.

But good work.

tamara not being offended doesn't make the comment any less creepy

Sounds like a personal problem for you guys. I don't think she's creeped out either.

And Tamara here is a quote from Blair Robert Lowe in another thread where we were discussing my going back to Judo:

Quote:
Come on, Judo is plain ****ing awesome. It is awesome like barbells. In fact it's so awesome, it will probably be the next thing Tamara Cohen picks up, especially if she starts hanging out with Gant Grimes.
Tamara Cohen....Judo Champion?

It's not personal. I'd find it funny if I were 15 and the "compliment" was coming from another 15 year old.. I'm sure the comment was made with the best intentions. But IMO coming for a guy who's married and has kids, that's just creepy, regardless of how she feels.

Well we come from different circles and different places then because it's a comment my wife would make and laugh about too.

Go here: http://paleochix.com/?p=1957 (WFS). That has a pic from April of 2009 and a pic from April 2010. Anyway, that is the difference between 174 lbs and probably 132 lbs. So, you can compare the 132 lb pic to the pics in the first post in this thread. And, then, I am attaching a new pic from the other day here, which is at 145 lbs. You can see that I no longer look like a meth addict. Not that I thought I looked like a meth addict, but if anonymous people on the internet were going to say horrible things about me they might use that term. Of course, we know that would never happen because people are awesome.

The difference between today and the pic from April really has nothing to do with food. Granted, there have been more days lately where I've eaten peanut butter just for the sake of a few extra calories, but the real difference comes from what I am doing for training. I've gained weight from lifting heavy and essentially cutting out almost all conditioning for the last 4+ months.

Tamara,

I know this is an older post date, but is the picture at the bottom recent? You look a lot different from the other pictures you posted, is this from cutting out metcons and doing strictly lifting? Great job on how much strength you've gained from lifting!
I'm a Crossfitter but have been wanting to get stronger as far as lifts go. It's hard to let go of the 'cardio'.
