Ski/Board Cross at 2010 Olympics

Has anyone been watching these events? This is what the Alpine Downhill should look like instead of timing each individual. Have them line up at the top of the mountain and "Ready, set, go!" Can you imagine the Alpine Downhill with everyone going at the same time?! LOL!

The term you are looking for is Chinese Downhill and it's a dumb idea when your goal is to find absolute fastest skier.

THe skiing downhill easily reach speed in the low 80 mph. It's a different type of event, much like short track and long track speed skating are different.

That would be insane, hah, so many crashes would happen. I like watching both, but downhill is my favorite because I love bombing straight down a run whenever I ski

I did think it was cool to see two guys I raced with (Casey Puckett and Daron Rahlves) keeping their Olympic hopes alive by switching to this new event.

Imagine the carnage if they all went at the same time! Downhill is my fav too because I love skiing fast. I used to hate skiing with my parents when I was younger because I would kick *** down the run and then have to wait for them as they took their time coming down.

Yeah, I saw the short story on Delbosco and was really rooting for him. He went all out and crashed but at least he went for it. Snowboard and ski cross are definitely two of my favorite events.

I think pushing and shoving should be encouraged. I'd like to see Ski/snoboard Roller Ball... Jk. I've watched all the sk-cross events. Great fun!

So true. My dad is pretty good and can keep up, but give me a steep run with no moguls and I'm definitely waiting
