Naps...zzzzz...zzzz...

Okay, just woke up from one, so I thought i'd see how many of you take naps. I absolutely love them and thankfully can sleep anywhere....car, desk, floor, etc. (hahahah)

I'm guaranteed naps on the weekend and sometimes a quick 15 min power nap during the week if I'm really tired.

Some people dig them and others can't sleep during the day. Just wondering what ya'll think about them........

Cheers!

Re: Naps...zzzzz...zzzz...

I get an hour 3-4 days during the work week.

Ah, the joys of working at home!

Strangely, I rarely nap on the weekends. Probably because I sleep til 9 (or later).

I love naps, but they screw with my real sleep, so I avoid them.

I agree with Emily, love them but they screw me over on my real sleep.

Re: Naps...zzzzz...zzzz...

i have the awesome ability of napping whenever i want for as long as i want and STILL being able to sleep at night. i was on vaca with my extended family once and conked out on the couch after dinner while everybody else was playing cards. i woke up a few hours later (10, 11ish?) to heard my cousin say, "oooh, she's gonna be sorry...she'll never get to sleep now." i stumbled over to the fridge, had a glass of milk, stumbled back to the couch and then went to bed for the night

she hates me for that ability

Re: Naps...zzzzz...zzzz...

I, too, have the ability to sleep for an hour or two (or 3 sometimes) and still be in bed by 2200 and have no problem going to sleep.
With that being said, I know i totally jinxed myself and will be staring at the clock until 0200 tonight. hahahah

I love to nap as well, and am another lucky one that can do it without affecting my regular sleep, nothing like a good 30 minute nap at lunch

I can do 30 minute power naps at lunch if I'm really drained. The only problem is that I kind of reach the point of no return with sleep deprivation. There is a point where I'm so sleep deprived I have a really hard time falling asleep, in which case any attempt at a power nap is merely an exercise in futility.

Re: Naps...zzzzz...zzzz...

I've been known to take the occasional Sunday afternoon nap on the couch.
