Two Testimonials in Two Days!

I semi-achieved my first pullup a couple weeks ago, but it had a little kipping action in it so I didn't count it.

Last night after we did QGB, I got my very first FULL ROM dead hang pull up. When I started in January, I couldn't pull my self up 6 inches from a dead hang.

Re: Two Testimonials in Two Days!

I remember that one too! Way to go man. A first dead hang pull up is a big deal.

Keep working on them. I can knock out about 7 dead hangs. About 7 kips. My kipping is getting better, and I as I lse weight, my kip numbers should improve.

I find that pull up ladders help:

Try a 3 rung ladder:
- 1 PU
- 2 PU
- 3 PU

Then do that ladder 3 or 4 times. You might be surprised how quickly you improve. Oh, and kettlebell C&P's have helped me a lot too!

Re: Two Testimonials in Two Days!

Bryan,

How often do you work on your pullups? I haven't been doing "extra" pullup work, I've just slowly eased up on the "assist" part. I do them every warmup though and have been holding the top position for a couple seconds.

I'll try the ladder, or a version I can do right now.
