Before and After

Hey, just thought I'd share again how amazing I think CrossFit is. Got a chance to put on a bathing suit and go swimming again last weekend. Well, I had a picture from just before I started CrossFit, and the after is about 8 months later. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM! I know, I know, everyone does. But I just can't believe how great it really works! First pic is me at over 310lbs. 2nd is at 265lbs. Check it out. Link is WFS:

Re: Before and After

Your tattoo shrunk!
That is some great progress, all joking aside. How is your diet?

Re: Before and After

had i known that CF can make your chest hair disappear, i would have done it a long long time ago

on a more serious note, Michael it seems that you are definately going towards the right direction. You look so much leaner in the 2nd pic.

Re: Before and After

Thanks everyone. Yes, CrossFit makes chest hair disappear AND makes tattoos shrink! Anyways, I eat pretty well, and try to eat clean throughout the week at work. It's exciting to see that even though I've been holding at around 265lbs, I'm still leaning out some. I want to get pretty cut before summer, but it's really hard to keep strict. I always fall apart during the weekend at some point. I'm very happy right now, and do most workouts as Rx'd. Almost finished the 30 MU for time the other day too. I think maybe 250 will be the lowest I could go. Thanks for all the feedback!

Re: Before and After

Great job Mike, Nice looking page also. I had a pretty similiar transformation myself I posted a while back.http://board.crossfit.com/showthread...5367&highlight , Except my tattoos kept growing and expanding. The weight does just keep coming off also, the body seems to become more efficient at burning fat once you get that first bunch of weight off. I've actually dropped about another 3-4% bodyfat since that picture. I guess another thing about losing a bunch of weight and getting in shape with CrossFit is it makes you create nice, dark and scary web pages (another factor we share) LOL. Great job again, congrads. You should be proud , I know it's a great feeling!

Re: Before and After

Man, Way to go!

You are looking great. Don't be hard on yourself about eating. You are making great progress, and I wager that as time goes along you will naturally gravitate toward better food choices all the time.

i have been zoning for 9 weeks now. Been working with kettlebells for the last 5 of those 9 weeks. Have lost about 19 lbs (won't weigh again till Monday). And I have done all this without giving up daily guiness or 3! I know I would be further along without the Guiness, and I am really thinking about cutting back. But for me to go from 199 to 180 is really great.

Also, I am on day 3 of IF. I was one who never thought I could go so long without breakfast, but I'm doing OK. I just sort of fell into it. Have been on vacation this week, so that helps. I don't think I'll ever be IF all the time, but it's a nice change right now.

Keep going!

Re: Before and After

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. It's been a great ride so far, and it looks to get better. My wife loves the changes as well. She's going to start crossfitting shortly.
