While doing a climbing exercise, I heard a snapping sound from my right tricep area.
After a while my elbow started to swell up.
MRI is scheduled for tomorrow.
Has anyone else had a similar thing happen to them?
If so, how was your recovery? How much strength have you regained?

Sorry to hear that Frank. I have never had anything snap but rope climbs make me sore on both sides of my elbow.

Let us know how thigns are going.

Thanks Robb.
Actually, I was doing a vertical pole climb where you begin with your body almost parallel to the ground (your feet stay in place as you climb hand-over-hand up the pole, them back down).
I'm still training around the injury, though.

Five weeks after the tricep injury and I am in physical therapy. The good news is, my physical therapist allowed me to bring my smaller kettlebells in for my sessions and it is working great! The tricep tendon is healing very well, despite the degree of torn tissue.
Thank GOD I can still do my other training!

Thank you Brad.
The tear was pretty significant (about 70% they said), but thank GOD I can now do reps with 35lb kettlebell with that arm.
Stayin' after it,
Frank
