Thanks. I'll need to watch the journal closely and see what's working then. I'm just about to hit a goal I've had for awhile (hopefully), and after that I just want to maintain that strength while learning the proper form. The sad thing is that there is currently a 260lb difference between my 1rm with good form and my 1rm with any form. It's so frustrating dropping the weight so much and then taking baby steps and never coming close to where I was at previously.

Everything felt pretty good tonight. Low back fatigue slowed me down a bit, just gotta get used to that again. Sitting in a conference room for the past two days (and again tomorrow), sleeping in a different bed, and driving from SJ right before the workout probably didn't help. haha! But overall, still pretty good.

Built up to 39 inches

35 consecutive chinups

C&J felt pretty easy even though my dip was slow. I totally surprised myself with the 39 inch box jump - super happy with this. I still had lots of height but mentally shut down and just couldn't commit to the 41. I'll get it next time!! I haven't done high rep chinups in a while so I played it safe and built up to a predetermined number.

Deadlifts felt heavy. Runs felt slow. HSPU felt pretty good. Overall I'm happy with today. I looked it up and I haven't done an overhead squat since January and I haven't more than 3 reps since last July. So...not bad...not bad!

64 consecutive double unders (think this is a PR too)

The 600 came up really smooth. Since this was my last day of focusing on deadlifts I decided to get greedy and go for 610. I was confident it would go - just didn't have any gas left in the tank. Thanks to Jodi and Tracy for loading my bar (and the cookies!). RJ, well, you didn't really do much, but it was fun watching you stall the bike.

So now I'm done. Back to conditioning work for me starting Monday, using a variation of 531 for the strength work.
