RX situps for Angie, tabata something else, etc...

At my gym we do unanchored butterfly situps for all these wods, or ghd if were pushing ourselves. But im wondering what do most people do for workouts that call for "situps". There is a huge discrepancy in speed and difficulty between anchored normal situps and unanchored butterfly, so when im comparing my tabata numbers for situps im pretty blown away by some folks.

I agree that situp type makes a huge difference in reps/time. On WOD's with situps, the best comparison is to yourself, the last time you completed the same WOD (assuming that you recorded what type you did).

Since my affiliate got abmats, our "default" sit ups are now unanchored, butterfly abmat sit ups.

OUCH.

Yeah i work there, and everything is recorded. I know my own progress, i just wonder when i compare an angie number on logsitall if people were doing anchored military situps or what.
