When testosterone is high in our weightroom, all kinds of noises can be heard! I've been asked if I just gave birth after a max back squat. Asked what the guys birthed after their max effort. Pigs? monkeys? Most probably dogs!

Note to self: "grunt louder and acquire mini-tricycle"

Actually, unless it's max lift attempt - I pop out a focus word...like "HOY!" or "JUMP!" or "PULL!" or "RACK!" (depends on where i think i'm breaking down).

Max lift - piglet sounds...

Adrienne would be proud of you, Sonia.

As for the tricycle, all training is complementary.

Thanks Sonia, but I wish I could lift what Tara Nott, 2000 Sydney Games Gold medalist, does! I out-Snatched her in '96 and she has just blown right past since.

Here's a challenge for you - catch up to my max snatch of 57.5 kilos. I'll keep working to keep you off my tail. That should be good little motivator for both of us?!

Cool,Veronica! My best snatch right now is 65 lbs(2 singles with...like...ummmm....*cough*....a 2min break in between each lift....what a coincidence...my Oly Lifts trainer mentioned Tara Notts, too.

(heh...now I wanna know what Adrienne lifts...just for the heck of it...anyone on a mini-tricycle is cool in my books)

Although-I think I'm sufferring "Mark Twight" Syndrome right now...I've resumed kickbox training about 3 weeks ago & my lifts are sufferring a bit(in terms of weight)...methinks I just need to re-adjust to the demands of kickboxing + increase lifting practice.

Cheers.
