Thanks folks. Yesterday's WOD (snatches and pullups) was the first in a while that I haven't completed, and that was mainly because I managed my schedule badly and had to leave early.

I'm definitely improving.

Any one know the oldest and/or heaviest person to perform a muscle up? I'm 44, so I figure by the time I'm 80 I should pop one out.

James, I'm 42 @ 200# and I could do three or four in a row (when fresh).

Larry I see you're up to 316 posts.
I plan to get down to 195-205 (from current 215-220) and maintain or gain lean mass, easier said than done. I used to be able to do a sloppier, albeit successful, version when I was 18 & 165, so it is humbling.

So far Larry you hold the record in my book.

Paul - since I've been doing this CF a grand total of a month now I'm no spokesperson, but I do know from other physical challenges in my life that the first and hardest muscle to condition is the twisted mass between my ears. Just keep at it a la Barry Cooper, avoid injury & poor health, and when you stop watching that pot of water so closely it will begin to boil, so to speak, seemingly on its own. I say this as a comrade in the same boat (look up my illustrious accomplishments in the comments under 'jimc'). After a month I don't feel like the WOD is getting any easier to perform, but I am beginning to get a little pushier about shortening the bent over, mouth breathing episodes in between sets.
