If that's true, that's pretty weak. Oh well, Rogue has all my business anyway.

2 of his 3 posts are in this manner. The other is about his crossfit box.

Re: Rogue Black Friday?

Guys, relax. Correct, I am an affiliate owner, and the VP of X Training. I was just trying to post helpful information, and answer the question that was asked, without having my post removed or spamming the board. Yes, it would be nice to post "Hey my company is having a big sale". I do not post very often, and on this occasion, I am just trying to be helpful. The person who started the post, did ask a question and I answered. If you would take the time, to check out our Facebook page, you will see that we have some great giveaways running, and some great deals for black Friday. Thank you.

(Re: Fringe posting here) Not anymore, they don't. Banned for trying to be helpful.

But Kevin won't be... even though he did it in a sly manner IMHO.

Kevin, next time, just say something.... we don't care if you're trying to rep your company, especially if you sell quality stuff. But don't try to edge something in when we think you are only a consumer. Spend 10 seconds and add a signature saying "I own so and so"... clarify it.

As for rogue's black Friday, should be good!

Re: Rogue Black Friday?

Just to add to things, since the Kellers have been axed from here
their Website www.Fringesport.com (wfs) is having a black friday sale. I got an email from them a few days ago. From looking on their Facebook page they "may or may not" have bumpers and squat racks on sale amoung other stuff I'm sure.

Hey then maybe Kevin was right to be a little sly in his post. Apparently if you are too "helpful" or direct you get banned.... Maybe admin could post some info on how equipt dealers can post things that are helpful and not considered spamming. I know it's a slippery road but maybe even a dealer's section on this board so dealers can post all they want for a small fee, that way it can help fund the operation of this board and all us potential customers can have a place to find new reps.

Does the same policy apply to Rogue employees, or they sponsor this board?

17. Don't use the board for personal announcements and profiteering. A discretely placed website reference is generally considered acceptable, but the board is not a place for non-CrossFit organizations to advertise their programs. Commercial postings may be allowed by regular forum contributors at the moderators' discretion.

Bill is a long time member and a regular contributor to the board.
