Applying for Affiliate - Any advice?

I live, eat, sleep and dream CrossFit. (Not unlike everyone on this forum, right?!)

I have been working in the fitness industry for 8 years and now ready to apply to become an affiliate.

Any advice you can tell me about the application process? Where to purchase equipment (Canada) or anything else? On what basis can you be turned down?

Thanks for your feedback!

Have patience. It takes a month or two.

Re: Applying for Affiliate - Any advice?

Figure out how long before you expect to recover from the affiliate fee.

Think about how much faster you expect to build up clientelle based on your abilities as a coach and businessman by adding affiliation.

Determine if you will have to purchase more equipment and its offset to profitability on top of affiliation fee.

Figure out how you could to it all out of your garage first.

This is all guesswork of course, but what do you have to compare to?

Will there be a Reebok Crossfit affiliate on the same block with much larger space and unlimited resources to compete with sooner than expected?
