How do you have your morning coffee?

I was curious for a healthy way to have my morning coffee. Currently I drink a single cup of Keurig style coffee. Mostly a medium blend brand then ill add a very small amount of Truvia sweetener, plus Baileys. I don't measure the baileys but it has 5grams of sugar per serving plus corn syrup ect. So I know that's bad so what are better ways to have my coffee. My reasoning is to follow a carb backload diet and I don't want to hinder fat loss with a insulin sugar spike in the A.M. From my coffee. Thanks for the ideas!

Doesn't bailys have alcohol in it? If you have to flavor your coffee why don't you just get some of those flavored creamers at the grocery store in the dairy section? It probably isn't the greatest thing in the world for you but a tablespoon a day isn't going to do anything.

If you have heavy whipping cream you are fine. Truvia has 3gr of carbs. Splenda has 2. If you can't have coffee without sugar/sweetener, I'd just have water in the morning. You will get used to it. I just ordered all the things to make some bulletproof coffee. Just waiting for the Magic Bullet Blender to get here.

And for goodness sake....DRINK GOOD COFFEE.

Buy your beans whole, keep them fresh, grind them just before brewing, and brew the coffee correctly.
