i was reading an article earlier (sorry no link- it was one of many tonight) that talked about how sprinting is known for releasing huge amounts of human growth hormone. It got me wondering what would other bodyweight exercises be that release tons of hgh?

pistols?
burpees?
pullups?

Everything's thats intense. You can even brew your coffee at superhuman speed and release growth hormone!

The obvious choice though, would be bw exercises that you can do at fairly high reps: squats, jumps of all sorts, pushups, situps – preferably in combination, eg.: 20 pushups/60 squats x 5 or just a few hundred burpees ;)

Another major releaser of GH is breath holding or hyperventilation. Work and family safe:

Any of the hard rings strength moves that require full body tension. Cross, planche, maltese, inverted cross. Albeit a bit impossible for us mere mortals.
