Extra squats
Hey guys!
I've been doing CF for the last 3 months and i'm so hooked! Doing mainly CF-classes at my box 4-5 times a week. Everything is going good, and doing small progress. But i have a big problem with my squats, and thinking about turning up 30min Before class every day to do extra squats. Is that a good, or will it only cause me to get over trained? And how could a good programming look like for only squats ( all sorts)? Hope someone can help me ![]() take care! |

What are the problems you are having with your squats?
You can do them for 10 hours or 100 hours extra a week but it won't help you solve the problem. Or do you know what the problem/s is/are and you want to take the time to fix them? Or is this just about being over trained or not? There is a difference in what reply you will get and based on that, it is easier to say *yes* or *no* or if you should do it another way. |

I mean i suck at squats, with that said i'm so weak at it.
And i'm trying to fix it doing extra squats every day before training. And if u you Think that is a good idé, how should i do it? |

If you struggle with squats due to a lack of strength, then talk to your coach at the box about helping you put together a strength training cycle to improve them.
If you struggle with squats due to a lack of proper technique, then have a coach assess what you are doing and help you improve it. If you lack the flexibility or mobility for squatting, then you have to work really hard at improving that area. Since you have the benefit of training in a box, take advantage of the coaches there. If you go about trying to fix it without first identifying what is wrong, you could be in for a long and painful journey. |
