Locked Out 405!

I DID IT! WITH A LITTLE LESS THAN ONE MONTH LEFT IN THIS PLACE, I'VE MANAGED TO REACH MY DL GOAL! 405! I DIDN'T GET A PICTURE, BUT THE NEXT TIME I DO IT...I WILL!

MY NEW GOAL IS 330 BACK SQUAT. I'M AT 310 RIGHT NOW, AND 315 IS DOABLE, BUT LOOKS REAL SLOPPY. MY WEAK POINT IS ABOUT 5in FROM THE BOTTOM COMMING UP I JUST LOSE THE WEIGHT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Re: Locked Out 405!

That's awesome news Rick, especially seeing as though you only started CFing in April. Absolutely quality!!

Quick side note though, post stuff like this in the "Testimonials" section

Re: Locked Out 405!

on the bottom 5 in you are probably getting soft and not keeping muscle tension, since its the bottom of the squat you just want to squat down and relax.

Re: Locked Out 405!

Try box squats to get that bottom stronger...work on explosion from a complete stop at the bottom. If you have a subscription to the Journal or no someone who does watch Dave Tate's videos on box squats.

Re: Locked Out 405!

I'm just a bit jealous, since I have honestly done 400 exact and not hit 405... Good for you!

Thumbs up Re: Locked Out 405!

Very nice! I also finally hit 405 last night after being stuck at 385 for the last five months or so. My squat is still suckin at 245 (weak I know) though. Keep it up.
