How much time do you spend working out? That would be from warmup to when you pack it in. Not just how long the WOD takes. If you do other stuff along with the WOD does that go first or after the WOD? I pretty much warm up and do the WOD. I am trying to get some other stuff worked in, but time is a problem. Examples anyone?

1 hour and 15 minutes, 3 times a week. This is a warmup followed by heavy lifting. Once I get back to the WODs it will be about 45 minutes a day on the 3 on / 1 off standard. That would be warmup followed by WOD.

About 40 minutes - 1 hour total (not counting changing and/or showering).
Warmup: 10 - 15 minutes: rope skipping, 500 m row, CFWU x 2 or x 3. WOD: anywhere from 10 minutes - 40 minutes Other Stuff: 10 - 20 minutes, depending on how long the WOD took and what it took out of me. In that order . . . |

3 hours. 30 minute warm up on a trampoline, jump rope or similar, with presses at the end of warm up. 2 hours of skill practice, 30 minutes of conditioning and stretching at the end.

I usually split my workouts up around 2-3 times during the day: Workout 1- Bodyweight strength training with stretching 30-45 minutes
Workout 2- GPP, crossfit or APK workout 20 minutes Workout 3- Parkour training 30 minutes to 2 hours if I'm lucky! |

This makes me wonder how many people on these forums actually do crossfit...

45 min. to 1 hour, after I finish training my mom and wife.
This typically includes my prescribed Z-Health exercises, 1 round of the CFWU, and the workout. I do not ramp up the intensity/speed until I'm into the WOD. Jay, your comment would hold more weight if you stated what your workout consists of and how long that takes you. If you feel you do "real" CF and others on the board don't, good for you. CrossFit provides the WOD, the WOD is not what CF is all about nor limited to. Thus, people can add to their own personal versions of CF as they feel necessary--or did you not catch that important distinction yet? |

30 minutes to One hour most days - CrossFit either at home, in the gym at work or at Brand X.
Hardly ever warm up usually get to classes right up at the top of the workout, or after it starts. If I get there late, I do a WOD I missed, or just start late on the class workout if it lends itself to solitary execution. Monday is an hour of CrossPit, Wednesday is a 30 minute or less workout at Brand X, Thursday I do ME workouts a lot of times at home or a WOD from past. Friday something CF at the gym: 30-40 minutes. Saturday 30 minutes to 2 hours at Brand X depending on the CF workout and whether I do Krav Maga. Sunday and Tuesday are a toss up for rest days or if I miss one of the other workouts I'll backfill.
