Paleo

Hey guys.
I follow a loose based paleo diet. I eat grains once a day, and that's in the morning with my breakfast. After that I pretty much follow paleo except I eat peanut butter after my workout.

I'm getting a little tired of eating eggs and egg omlette with sausage in the morning... been doing so for the past 2 years haha.

What are some good alternatives that I can make? Any good breakfast recipes?

Re: Paleo

Steak & veggies? Berry + coconut milk smoothie? Apple with sunbutter/almond butter? Salad with chicken? mashed Sweet Potato with coconut butter & cinnamon?

Re: Paleo

There's lots of stuff on these boards. When I eat paleo I typicallly have a bowl of chili for breakfast everyday with some fruit and vegetables.

Re: Paleo

Yeah, the secret is that you don't have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast.

My breakfast the other day was sausage with horseradish mustard, sauerkraut, carrots, and a cup of coffee. Yum!

Re: Paleo

I agree, eat dinner for breakfast. I usually make extra dinner and eat it again in the morning. Or ill bake a whole chicken and have that with some berries in the morning for a few days. Get creative!

Oh! This was one of the first Paleo recipes that caught my eye. I had great fun making them and even more fun eating them! I highly recommend them!
