If your joining a box see if you can store them there. Most places would probably welcome free equipment just make sure they know you will take them back at some point.

As an addendum to what I said... I also did this. A bunch of my equipment sits at EVCF where I do all my Olympic Lifting training at. Yes... they'll welcome it. I just wrote out a list of what I brought to the gym just so there wouldn't be any confusion.
