I like your double under explanation (think about getting hips higher), and will have to try it as soon as it stops raining outside!

I can do every other jump as a d.u., but have never been able to link them. I hope this will help me!

And with that, my WODs will end for the week. I have the Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge on Saturday, so I'm going very light tomorrow and taking Friday off. It's my first ever athletic competition as an adult. Wish me luck!

Hi ya Emily, your explination of the DU's is great, I read that and lights came on in my head. I have been working on DU's for a wile and have had a little improvement. I haven't had a chance to try it with getting the hips higher, but I will soon enough. Thanks for the post, I'm sure it will help.

Soooo... How I did at the Hopper...

WOD 1:

2RM deads

Attempt 1: 205 (or was it PVC?)
Attempt 2: 225 (ok, so that felt like about 195)
Attempt 3: 235 (big new PR, and I had more in the tank)

WOD 2:

OHS (65 lbs)
Bastards
Push ups

21-15-9

DNF at 15:00 with 8 f'n push ups remaining... GAH!!!

WOD 3:

120 single unders
7 back squats (65 lbs)
30 GHD sit ups
7 snatches (65 lbs)
30 wall balls (14 lbs @ 10')
7 push jerks (65 lbs)
30 toes to bar

DNF at 15:00 with 27 toes to bar remaining

(This is what happens when you have lost all ab strength. I couldn't kip to save my life. Most of these were dead hangs. I tore both hands and my lats and biceps were on FIRE!!!)
