I do not like to run, either. My knees hurt after runninig. Then, I began to pay more attention to how I ran. And I studied, and I run better, nw. I still do not go for long runs, because my form breaks down and I heel HARD. That is what tortures my 75 yr old knees. I am not 75, just my knees. I am 53. That is why I compare my loads and times more to new girls than, say Nicole. Don't I wish.

Sarah's Log

Ran a mile and a half. My shins were really bothering me today so I didn't go as far as I had planned. So I finished off the workout with 20 mns on the elliptical.

Richard, that's something I should probably be paying closer attention to as well. My legs are still fairly young so I don't have any excuses!!!

This morning I did 30 mins of cardio on the bike and then took a hips, abs and thighs class at the gym

I ran 2 miles and my legs were feeling much better today!! I also did a pretty thorough workout with weights focusing mostly on my upper body.

Keep up that cardio. When are you going to try some of the CF workouts? I know they are calling to you. You must be intrigued......:stir:
