Well, after searching Ebay and Craigslist for weeks I decided to order a new model D. UPS truck dropped it off yesterday... Christmas in June! It's great, only had time for a little workout on it yesterday, but that will change soon! On top of it I got my official "Go" as an affiliate this week.. CrossFit Cincinnati is active!

Congrats on both Rainer, you be very happy with each. Good call on getting the new C2, it seems that the super deals require a great deal of patience and are few and far between....which leaves you without a rower for a long time.

mine is set to be dropped on my doorstep in 2 days. I also sent the company a note that told them that crossfit was the main reason I even knew about them or would ever had considered getting a rower.

I looked and looked and decided for a few hundred dollars it was anew one and i could get it ASAP.

the shipping seemed to make the difference. you almost had to find a mint one next door to make it worth buying used

Hey Rainer,

Congrats on the C2 - had mine for a while and it's great. I put in 5-10 2-3minute intervals into the WODs to spice them up then upload my rowing times to the C2 website. I guess I'm a geek!

Have fun!

opened mine on fathers day and SWEEEEET!!!! hooked up the optional heart rate doo-dad that they sell to show on the Pm3 and good to go. rowed about 500 meters to make sure all was well. that thing is built well. I had to break it in to the two pieces to store in the corner of the home gym. the thing is long. No more rowing for the rest of the week as I taper for a half ironman race next Sat.

Hi Drew,

Not to offend, but you know the Concept 2 flips up to store vertically on its end, yes?

See background of this pic (WFS):
