Agreed. I'm always baffled by the folks who go super hard and tank on burpees and just stand there looking at the ground like they had to lift the earth overhead. Lay down, stand up, jump - if you get to the point where you can't do that, you're pretty much done.

HAHAHAHA that made me laugh!

For me, it is almost death to stop on some exercizes mid workout. It takes so much will and extra pain to get moving again. I'd rather keep moving and pace, then sprint stop and go again. I don't trust myself to stay on a good short break.

Well it was set up for me, deadlifts went unbroken and fast, push ups quick with small breaks, box jumps like burpees, steady but no stopping.

yeah Mate, always loving those deadlifts for high reps, wish they were combined with push ups in Manchester rather than double unders.

Exactly, with the standards for crossfit even more so. We call them lay down get ups at the end of long workouts.

And do not forget, while your moving your body regulates your breathing etc, when you stop its back to you!! and boom your feeling like you do at the end of a workout right in the middle.

Re: A Bears Tale

9 August 2012

Hang Power Cleans 3-3-3-3-3

50k x 3
70k x 3
80k x 3
90k x 3
100k x 2 pr
100k x 3
70k x 5

Happy with that, first time with HPC of 100k, previous pr was 95k for 1.

3 rounds for time:

40 Double Unders
15 HSPU
Run 400m - 9.23

HSPU much better in the WOD today than before, got first 15 unbroken with 12 strict and 3 kipped, after that got 8/3 strict then 4 kipping. Managed to take the lead in the 2nd round 400m and stay in front.

7 KTE Pull ups then had to teach.

All without dropping the bar. I do not count re-set reps as anything more than singles with limited rest.

Exactly what I thought. Expecting to walk in the gym and see a lot of -45 etc where nobody has finished it.
