Hang Power Clean/Snatch and Power Clean/Snatch differences

What are the different muscles use between the Hang Power Clean and the Power Clean? Does the Hang Power Clean involve more of the upper body? Same for the Snatch. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hang Power Clean/Snatch and Power Clean/Snatch differences

They are all full body exercises. Same muscles used in each exercise. There's just a little less leg drive in a HPC. Same goes for snatches.
If it's sore - ice it. If it's torn - tape it. If it's heavy - lift it!

Neither involve the upper body for force development in any meaningful way.
