not a huge country fan but I'll have to check it out... (after googling it I feel kind of dumb). Every one here goes to a place called "Cowboys" but I haven't been there yet either.

Re: Sharknado

hope everyone had a great weekend. life here is pretty good just busy and lots of rain. wife and i got a date last night with no kids at all which is a pretty big deal when you have a 14 month old. other than that we are living life, loving God, and trying to have a little fun along the way.

in training news, i am a lazy bum and did absolutely nothing the last few days.

my diet is still going well and i am still dropping weight at the desired rate without losing strength and while improving conditioning a little. tonight however i plan to pig out on junk food and watch movies.

tomorrow i really ramp up the conditioning. wish me luck.

well alot of what gets played there would hardly be called "country" some hill country and red dirt is much more like rock than country. and alot of it is so hybrid that it is it's own thing completely. besides, most young single gents don't go there for the music. just don't go looking like a yank or a yuppie.

Same here, besides playing catch and kicking a soccer ball around at a big family reunion with my dad's side of the family (he's the youngest of 6 and was what you would call an "accident" so we are pretty much the baby branch of the family).

Re: Sharknado

Well, the gym electronic clock closes early on Sunday. Forgot about that.

I'm thinking either Cindy or something with burpees. Limited by what I got in the garage. Nothing to great to do pullups ( I can sort of kip on if I palm one of the support girders ).

Bah. Took a nap this afternoon and it ended up being a long nap versus power nap.

Re: Sharknado

7 unbroken rounds of "Cindy" in 6:56.

Last 2 rounds of pushups form started breaking down so I called it.

Feels good at least and finished with some 1 arm assisted rows and assisted 1 arm pushups and some 1 arm rows with a cinder block I found in the garage.

Something is better than nothing.
