1. A big concern of mine is that my cleans look like the bar is shooting forward. How can I prevent this?

overall very solid...don't jerk the bar off the ground wait till you pass your knees for the explosion ...wasting a little energy there

Snatches felt off today. I was trying to punch through the hip but I think I was doing something wrong because it just plain hurt. Feels like I bruised my pubic bone.

I think he means the whole first pull. Should be relatively methodical until the bar gets past your knees. All the first pull is there for is to set you in the right position for the power part of the lift.

**Hurt my pelvis yesterday on snatches, I still can't figure out how to punch through with the hips and not slam my pubic bone into the bar (Massive bruise-feeling today).**

yay absolutely perfect!!!!!!!!...did it feel better?!....just half of the time before it seemed like you were trying to rip it off the ground especially with the cleans
