Tallest adjustable sawhorse?
I saw that one member posted he had an adjustable as high as 40". Is that the highest? I don't have measuring tape on me but I'm about 5'8-5'9. Is that high enough?

I'll bite.
High enough for what? Are you going to spot youself doing squats, bench, etc.? |

Re: Tallest adjustable sawhorse?
If using to self-spot squats, the more relevant question is "short enough?". I'm your height and have my saw horses set at 30", the lowest they'll go, for my back squats.

Re: Tallest adjustable sawhorse?
I ask more for unracking versus safety spot. I'd unrack it and step back. Or maybe I'm just better off unracking from a low squat?

Re: Tallest adjustable sawhorse?
I would not try to use a pair of sawhorses for unracking/racking. As you adjust the height higher, the capacity they will hold goes down. Plus, they are just not as solid when they are in the high position.
I use a pair of them with my homemade half rack and at the height I need them for as a safety spotter, they are perfect. I have dropped over 400 pounds on them and they did not budge. I like them because I can move them out of the way when not in use to make more room in my very small space in the garage. |
