I'll be walking up the stairs again in Taipei 101, currently the world's tallest building, on May 5th.
It's only to the 91st floor though. Last year was to the 84th ( I don't know why it's more this year) and i did it in 27 minutes. I'll post back later when I'm finished and tell how I fared. I've adhered to Xfit more this past year, so we'll see if more rowing and more free-weight squats will have helped! :showoff: |

I did one of those a few years in a row.
Only half that height though. I thought I was going to die. That is HARD WORK. Good luck to you. |

I just used the Stairmill (also called the Gauntlet, I believe) and did 91 floors in 24:25.
I'll post my real time after the race.Perhaps posthumously. |

I'm confused. I thought the StepMill was called the Nardpuncher.

Good idea! I'll write it on a piece of duct tape and stick it on the machine. I'll be doing the race tomorrow morning. I was talking to a coworker about this, saying that I'll be going up (or did I say 'climbing'?) and she seemed in awe. She seemed so in awe that I had to tell her that I'm sure she could do it too...maybe next year...then she mentioned she'd never done any climbing...that's when she told me she thought I'd be climbing up the outside of the building!! |

OK...done and done....28:14.
Thanks for everyone's support! I wore my NYFD hat to honor the poor souls that spent the last moments of their lives doing what I did but with firefighting gear on. |

Do you mean yours or mine?
Just a little tender. Not as bad as after a 10k run. Funny that. |
