Thanks

the picture is of the orange ones that we have been seeing, but the description says

adiPower Weightlifting
CORE ENERGY S12 / WHITE / BLACK 1

So I am wondering what the white and black ones look like? I kinda dig the orange ones. Either way, I won't be purchasing for a few months, but can't wait.

That is one of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. I really do hope for their sake it comes in black/white.

Lincoln, I agree!! I would consider a pair if they have a white/black color scheme. I just bought a pair of the original Nike Romaleo's considering they went on sale, so those will have to do for now!! LOL

I'm actually interested in what the new Nike's will look like. They are supposed to be lighter than the originals, though.

Re: Adidas adiPower Oly Shoes

From what I understand there isn't a black/white version. There are some additional "country colors" that will be for the olympics, and a VERY short list of other people who will get a pair, but that orange is it.

I could be wrong, but that's what my Adi rep who ordered mine said.

The new ones will look apparently exactly the same and all the changes are "under the hood" according to the Nike Weightlifting facebook page. It'll be lighter and more flexible. Just curious to see what the new colorways will be. They release them on Monday I believe.

To be frank, I don't buy a pair of shoes on their looks or their colour.

me too, if 2 shoes are very similar in performance, etc, then I definitely will.

I dig the orange though, so if it is only the orange, then so be it. The orange will go good with my blue rehbands, lol

Yeah I think I'd rather pick up the older addistars than these. I guess these are lighter... is that all that's improved? It looks like the strap is higher on the shoe than the old ones. That is not an improvement in my mind... would make it less flexible on a split jerk.
