Did the Tabata squats for the first time. I was only able to use the 25lb plate for the first 4 intervals (out of 8), then dropped it to 5lbs, then body weight only. Rested for 2.5 -3 minutes between sets (reps range 13-17). My thighs and glutes were pumped and filled w/lactic acid, could barely walk after the last set. For those who never tried 'em, you gotta try'em, they kick butt (literally!) You guys at Crossfit are wicked!!:biggrin:Keep it up.

It was my first time also, so I did them with only body weight. I seemed to get stronger on the 2nd and 3rd sets (between 16-21 reps), but my legs are still smoked! Of course, riding the bike for 6 miles total at level 20 the next day or rowing 4000 meters the following day didn't help my quads. I'm very happy Monday is a rest day. I will try to add weight for my next set of Tabata squats, but I'm not looking forward to them.}

Tabata squats equals DOMS! I'm feelin' it as I type this message. Crossfit is wicked!:biggrin:
