I was looking at the 100 words for fitness and it says “some fruit”. So that got me thinking, how much is some? I’ve been eating about 3-5 pieces of fruit a day, to me that seems about "some". What is other people’s interpretation of this?

Veggies are very unpleasing to me (very, very bad gas). I eat only fruit.

I zone (20.5 blocks a day) and get my carbs exclusively from fruit.

From a purely logical perspective, I think it makes sense to replace almost all your fruits with vegetables. A few pieces of certain fruits high in antioxidants probably has merit. Vegetables are far lower in calories and sugar, high in fiber, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.

With that said, I eat a ton of fruit because it tastes good.

I try to eat as much of my carbs from veges as possible, but after I've put my meat on a plate and filled the rest of the plate with veges, it's still usually only about 3 blocks out of 5 taken care of.

That leaves me with 2 blocks that I'll usually eat as fruit with some nuts for dessert.

5 blocks of vegetables (if that's what your meals consist of) is a huge quantity.

I probably eat a little too much fruit; most of my veges come at dinner time. But it seems to be working for me.

This will vary from person to person. I have the challenge of not tollerating a bunch of fruit yet eating meals composed of only veggies requires dumptruck loads to supply even the modest levels of carbs in the Zone. Just experiment and if you are improving both performance and body comp, things should be good!
