Hmm...reminds me of what they do at every major sporting championship. Like it's a bad thing?

Exactly. I can't believe people care about this. Roger Federer doesn't win his first match and then sit courtside cheering everyone on when he has the rest of a tournament to close out.

Based on all the hate posts about his MC at the event, I nominate Dave Castro :stir:

PS: Didn't watch the games, so I have no dog in this fight. I just think all the hate posts against anyone, especially Mikko, is just unbelievable. Likewise, I've nothing against Dave or any other CFHq personality.

Re: Was Mikko Hurt

The question still hasn't been answered. Was Mikko hurt? I know that Speal looked like he was in pain during the awards ceremony, so did a few of the others. I limp around like that after just one wod at home. If I had done those workouts, I still would be unable to walk, get out of bed, or have any grip strength at all, and it's 5 days later. Hats off to the competitors, you were all awesome!!!

Well, let me frame my critique! I thought the sandbag event was really boring to watch... however, it was probably one of the best tests of real world fitness. Spectator wise it was something similar to watching unskilled manual labor for fun.
