Congrats to Graham Holmberg CF Games Winner

What an awesome Games this year. Crazy workouts and fun to watch. Congrats to Graham for a great showing at the games. Also congrats to Rich Froning Jr. for a great 2nd place showing. He was the guy I thought would win it. So close.

Great job this year CF!!

What about Kristen Clever? She absolutely DOMINATED in a way no man or woman has before in the CF games.

Outstanding performance by her, and the rest of the fantastic CF women!

Yes, you are correct. Winning 5 events and 2nd in 3 is HUGE..... I just started a thread for the men. Maybe you should do one for the women

Seconded. Her and Annie going rep for rep in the last event was incredible to see. Congrats too to Speal for the Spirit of the Games award, he put himself out there and crushed the burpee wall jump and rope event! All the athletes were truly phenomenal.

The competition was absolutely amazing this year. Spent all weekend wod-ing and watching the games. A lot of Dark Horses all over the place. Sweet competition. Where can I get a hold of those plates they were using? Haha.

They were special made for the Games, they were selling them off. Go to Rogue's website and you can buy them I'm pretty sure. You might have to pick them up there though. However the plates they were using were just these but colored and marked I'm pretty sure:

Graham bringing it to C-BUS! I was real pumped for him, and Kristen, two very nice, humble exceptional athletes. The last event was crazy, and I think if Rich knew what he was going into he wouldn't of busted his *** so hard on the first part. But no coaches, no knowing the event and he didn't have time to learn how to Rope Climb and ended up losing because of it. The top 3 men truly stood out above the rest, and the top 2 women were the same way. Great overall test this year.

Haha man what a logistical mistake. CF has a lot of refining to do before it goes totally hollywood.

Re: Congrats to Graham Holmberg CF Games Winner

Was anyone else amazed that the fittest guy there lost his #1 spot because he didn't know how to climb a rope? Rich was fluent in everything he did and seemed to have mastered every movement out there yet he couldn't figure out he was supposed to use his feet on the rope.

I wonder how many people were shouting at their computer screens trying to tell him to use his damn feet?

I sure was.

And, really, I think he knew that he should. I just don't think he knew how. It appeared that he tried several times.

Total training error on RF Jr's part, and one that I think is going to eat at him for a while.
