BJJ Content: Conbrinha and Crossfit

Conbrinha is a big name in sport BJJ right now (4 time Mundial/World Champion), and in an interview with BJJ Asia (WFS) he states that he trains Crossfit, at least sporadically. It's awesome to see one of the best combat athletes in the world giving credit to CF.

From the interview:

Quote:
Can you please describe a typical week of training for you including jiu jitsu, weights, cardio, flexibility, etc. (Brabo Fett)

I train jiu jitu 2 times a day - 5 days a week, plus 1 time a day on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, I have private lessons and/or seminars that will increase the number of times I'm doing jiu jitsu each week. In addition, every day I spend time stretching, doing balance exercises, and doing crossfit (or circuit training).

Yeah, he is definitely a monster. I loved how he shut people down at the Pan Ams by spider guarding gi jackets. That was freaking brilliant.
