I started my squat at 115 (although my previous PR was 135)... I got it up to 240# before I was sidelined. I'm not sure exactly what happened. I was recommending SS to another friend of mine who's got real strong metcon, but mediocre strength. He kept having doubts but I said "dude, you will not regret doing this."

Even if he doesn't like it that much, it will only be a couple months out of his years and years of training/working out and it will make him much more confident in his major lifts.

Everything in CF for me has to be categorized now into Pre-SS and post-SS because it's a whole other world now that I can really throw around weight with my legs.

What is your weight to now and what did it start at?

I was happy with this result, I've lost several pounds of fat and some muscle, but I was able to match my DL PR. Also, I didn't feel any pain in my hip flexor (which I injured last month).

1 hr Spinning class (mostly intervals)

5 Assisted Dips

3/16- Started CF 172.5@12.5%
4/19- Started SS 182.5@13.7%
5/19- Stopped SS 194.4@15.0%
6/15- Most recent 190.6@14.0%

Towards the end of the SS cycle my BF% peaked at 16.5% which was not a good scene. Now I'm doing CF plus some heavy weights and clean eating to get my BF% back down.

taking a break from CF...

Was downhill mountain biking at Whister. Had the worst crash of my life. Fractured left Clavicle and Scapula. Fractured ribs 3 and 4. Got a minor pneumothorax. Took a 2 hr ambulance ride to Vancouver. Spent several days getting treated. Yesterday, ortho installed a plate and screws to fix the clavicle.

I'll be back eventually... any good recouperatory sites would be greatly appreciated

Spent 5 days travelling back to the US... Now I'm in Portsmouth, NH recovering. Had the stitches pulled out today. Doctor says I'm looking good. Still in a lot of pain.

Back in West Palm, FL. Still in a lot of pain, now all i can do is the ROM exercises until i get flexibility back, then hopefully start adding light resistance. "it's going to be a long road"

Went to the gym for the first time since the crash. Started the diesel crew shoulder rehab methodology

stationary bike

3 supersets of 12 reps each

DB Protraction (5#, 10#, 15#)
DB Retraction (5#, 10#, 15#)
Posterior stretch (30 seconds)

Then I tried to back squat 45# , but the combination of high hands and weight across the shoulder blade fracture was too uncomfortable. So, I'll have to wait more.

30 decline situps
3 min on treadmill
5 min of intervals on stationary bike

Then I went to the sauna to massage my collarbone. Swam 2 laps, one freestyle, one breast stroke. Spent a few minutes in the hot tub, doing arm circles, and massaging the collar bone. Went home.
