Cool Zone meals are ridiculously huge!

I made a 5 block salad today and it ended up taking two plates.
1 Head of lettuce
1 cup of black beans
2 tomatoes
3 oz chicken
2 oz cheese
15 almonds

I don't know how I can be eating this much and it only comes out to around 600 calories this is nuts.

Blame the lettuce. it takes a LOT of lettuce to equal a block

Depends on the dressing.
I try not to waste blocks on condiments.
Instead, use a squeeze of lemon and some salt and pepper.

just fine more nutrient dense foods. Even on the favorable chart list of foods I think some are better than others. I know I wouldn't want to eat a head of lettuce.

You are eating water in a solid non ice form.

But I have to say, I'm impressed you finished the salad.

I am new to zone meals so as I learn more I will have more creative meals. I am trying to stay cheap with the economy.
