Anybody got one of these?

If so, what are your thoughts?

Re: Eatsmart Nutrition Scale - yay or nay?

I just use a digital food scale from walmart. $10 and it works fine. $75 seems like a lot for a food scale.

Re: Eatsmart Nutrition Scale - yay or nay?

First time post, as I felt compelled to comment on this thread. I actually know the makers of this product (so this is by no means unbiased), but I can say that it is a tremendous product for diabetics (which I am). It allows me to accurately track carbs for almost ever food I put in my mouth. I initially bought the product at a local diabetes fundraiser walk, and have kept it on my kitchen counter ever since. I have had cheap plastic scales in the past, but they did not keep me disciplined because I had to do some much of the work. The nice thing about the EatSmart is the database of foods is built in and calculations are instant. Generally I would give the product an A.

FYI, its $5 cheaper on amazon.
