stephan rochet just wrote an article regarding crossfit and cops, but in reality this article is great for anyone in a combat mode or a survival mode. i appreciate stephan writing the article for mikesgym and i know he would want it shared with all his crossfit friends and anyone else that would benefit. go to www.mikesgym.org or http://mikesgym.org/articles.php?sho...e&articleID=98

I never realy thought about it until i read this article, I spent 6 year's in the Marine Corps and when i was squad leader, I actualy did a sort of crossfit type work out with my guy's i used to have them run the obstacle course everyday either 3 time's with flak jacket, web belt(canteen's, ammo pouche's), or 5 time's without it before i would let anyone go home.
The reason was because it had so much variety and I thought it was fun. Jeff |

Good article Coach. I speak for a huge group when I say I wish we had CF decades ago when we started in that line of work. Thanks for your contribution.
At my PD the rule is more like "you can lead a horse to water but..." More guys are buying in to it at the multi-agency unit I'm cross-assigned to now though. About half of my current team is starting CF in some modified form. |
