for sundays tabata squat workout, it dosen't mention how much weight to use. i haven't had the pleasure of doing tabata squats before(!), and it seems like it is pretty intense, so i would assume using a fairly light weight...any suggestions?
thanks, scott |

Hey scott, the tabata squats are usually done without any weight at all. Just yourself. If you haven't done it before it could be harder than you think even thuogh you don't use any weight. Newbes to this exercise may do 12-15 per interval, intermeadiate 16-19 and most experienced could be 20-24.

david,
yeah, your estimates were right on. i am very new to crossfit and scored between 12-15 reps the entire time. what was interesting was that my reps were more consistant the third and fourth cycle. the first two were mostly 12 reps, while the last two were either 13 or 14 reps, with one 15. either way it was really intense and my legs were pretty wobbly near the end! thanks! scott |
