I started training for the Women's Tri Fit this summer, so I'm doing more of a hybrid.

It's coming along finally, I'll do it on a track this summer to have a really accurate time. You're still much faster than me on the long distances, but watch out :stir:

i'll be doing the 5k tomorrow. To busy at home with my daughter to escape for 225-30 minutes lol. you freaking killed that 5k with that time! Last time i did it in like 28 or 29 minutes!! got my work cut out for me.
Don't worry Ernie, it's just one of those days where you get a slight weakness rubbed in your face, it'll only make you go harder. I need to go smoother on the rower, but I can't help but rowing hard and then gassing after !

I'm sure you're looking at a good 5k PR, get that run Ernie !

Re: The making of me ^^

So proud of my fellow twin buddies that run the 400m. They had their first run for the Florida Uni, a 4x400, impressive to say the least !

They are known as twin number 1 and twin number 2 now in America hahaha

Wow. The 400m was my best event in Track & Field, and those guys made my 51.7 PR look like a jog. Those twins were flying. 3:05.48 is FAST.

Are they buddies of yours, or is this just national pride?

Oh yeah they're nuts Justin, one has a PR of 44'88" and the other 45'1.." I think. They were in Beijing last summer. They're really good buddies of mine, that's why I'm so proud of them !

Re: The making of me ^^

Thanks for stopping by my log and giving me the encouraging words! Man, you are one well-rounded competitor. 21:00 5k run? Insane! When are your qualifiers?

As far as EDT, I like to think it's the solution to all the world's problems.
I'm amazed that after no metcon or rowing for a couple months that I could pull a PR on a 5k row.
