Couldn't agree more. I keep watching Kelly Starret's videos from the CFJ, amazing info.

Re: The making of me ^^

Tue 090210

Severe DOMS from yesterday, and I'm afraid of what it'll be tomorrow !

Elevated deadlifts - 110kg x 5, 150kg x 3, 180kg x 1

I then removed the plates under my feet and went for a normal deadlift at 200kg. I pulled it off the floor and felt too much strain on my back so I put it down. Strength suffers from the Cindy aftermath, so I didn't push and called it a day right there. Really felt that lats play a significant role for a strong DL.

That's what I meant to say,I wasn't flailing LOL

I agree - probably my favorite series of CFJ articles since Coach was involved in writing everything.

Another great Elizabeth spin off today with your favourite Double Unders. I need revenge for Monday so I will be going Balls to the Wall later.

Haha well I just got back from the gym, everything was hurting when I woke up, just went and did my best but I know you can crush that. Go hard Scott !

Wed 090211

Woke up, didn't eat, and just went straight to the gym to get on with thise crazyness !

For time:
45 Double-unders
135 pound (62.5kg) Squat clean, 45 reps
45 Ring Dips
45 Double-unders

==> as rx'd in 13'06"

The cleans took about 8'30", don't know how I got thru them as bending was hurting a lot this morning, legs and back are still shot but I'm learning to work thru the soreness. My recovery needs to speed up. I do feel I was a bit of a sissy on these cleans today, putting the bar down although I could squeeze a couple more reps in, I hate that. Time to rest and go hard on Friday !!!

Re: The making of me ^^

Good one there, Rich. That's a lot of cleans in a row. Eight minutes for that part is great. I'd like to tackle this myself, but we got yelled at for dropping weights last week for Elizabeth, and lowering the weight simply sucks for this WOD. Maybe I can convince them to let me bring my bumpers in.

Thanks Patrick. They really need to let you bring your bumpers, where's the harm ? Go get it !

Re: The making of me ^^

Still a very good time Richard, what sort of time do you think you had without all the DOM's. This WOD is going to cause chaos is my globo tonight, my DU's are so noisy and violent then squat cleans also, I might just have to pull the red floral shorts out!!
