I've been watching a documentary on Hurricane Katrina and this guy (along with the US Coast Guard) comes off as one of the few undisputed heros. Strangely his Widipedia page ends on Dec 30, 2005.

WFS link to General Honore's wiki pg.

This board being my only opportunity to communicate with military folks I thought I'd ask here first.

PS. Thanks for your service

LTG Honore is currently serving @ Ft. McPherson, GA, located in Atlanta, GA. He's a personal family friend through my dad who is also here in Atlanta. For more info on him you can go to the 1st Army webpage or google Ft. McPherson.
