Tonight I got my first muscle up on a bar.

Ive been trying for ages but thanks to some coaching from my mate Derek, I got my first. After I got it I spent the rest of my shift at work doing them every time I walked past the bar.

They really are cool, aren't they? Once you get one, you want to do them all the time!

Fun fun fun.

Wootness on the bar muscle up. Going to try for my first one after I can get 10 kipped pull ups in a row.

I just got one yesterday. i posted a thread on this forum but lynn moved it to testimonials. I tried for 20 minutes yesterday to get a muscle up and I kept getting close but gave up and went and ran sprints. Then I trained my fiance and after we finished I said watch how close I get to the muscle up. Suddenly when I went to show her I realized that I had made it to the top of the bar and finished the muscle up. A few seconds later I tried again and got my second one lol. I haven't been trying very long to get this. I think I put 20 minutes in 2x last week and 2x this week and know I'm getting it. It really was all about perfecting my kip.
